Our Industry, my Future - Eis Industrie meng Zukunft

In 2016, the Fedil - The Voice of Luxembourg's Industry  - has launched in partnersip with the Luxembourgish Chamber of Commerce, Luxinnovation, the Government of Luxembourg and many motivated industrials the Hello Future project. This project aims at raising awareness among young people about jobs in the industrial sector. Throughout the year, engineers and technicians from various industries present their jobs and daily tasks to Luxembourgish teenagers during a so-called roadshow (a presentation in a school). They present the company, answer to teenagers' questions, display prototypes, which shows a real insight of what is going on in the industry world. Cebi has always supported this project by motivating the employees to take part in the Hello Future roadshows.

Recently, The Fedil has decided to go a step further by launching the "Eis Industrie meng Zukunft" (Our Industry, my Future) video series. The purpose is to promote technical jobs in the industry through a series of videos in order to raise awareness not only among young people but also among a wider public.

In this video, one of our talents, Bob Streber, presents his job as a R&D Project Engineer in the automotive sector at Cebi Luxembourg. We thank him for sharing with us some of his daily tasks in the Research and Development department.
